Notes for Captain Duncan TATTON-BROWN RN OBE
Educated at Stubbington House School, Gosport, 1882 and HMS Britannia 1888 (then a hulk floating in the R Dart. Lt 1896; Commander 1908; Captain 1922. Living in Dovercourt when his last child was born; moved to Villerville in France and to 11 Dry Hill Road, Tonbridge 7th March 1924. Finally went (1947) to live at Hunters Lodge, Kiln Road, Fareham. Admitted a freeman of Berwick upon Tweed in 1935.
