Probably the person of the same name who was Beadle (parish officer with punitive powers over minor offenders) at Creuddyn 1331, Escheator (royal official implementing escheats, or reversions of property to the Crown in cases where a person had died without direct heirs) of S Wales 1344–46 and Dep Steward Cards to 1348 (when deprived of office as a Welshman, though performing the duties of the office again 1349–50 and 1352–57); married Tudo, daughter of Ieuan Goch (‘The Red'), of Trawsgoed, Llanafan.
