The assignees of the firm, Joseph Edlman and John Watson Borradaile (both of whom q.v.), in their capacity as assignees, were awarded or claimed unsuccessfully the compensation in 7 awards in Antigua, Tobago and St Vincent.
The will of John Anthony Rucker of St Pancras [made in 1840] was proved 07/06/1851. The will is very simple, leaving everything to his wife Ann and identifying his brother-in-law as Wm. Bencraft and his son as Daniel Henry Rucker jun.
